MovePayment is excited to offer a special welcome bonus to our new users upon joining our platform. This bonus comes in the form of cash deposited directly into your linked Standard Bank account. The reward is exclusively applicable to our new users.
Users simply need to fulfil the requirements outlined in these terms and conditions. The reward will only be disbursed if all criteria in these Terms are met by the user within a 6-month period. To participate in the MovePayment welcome program, users must adhere to both these Welcome Bonus Program Terms and Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions that are always applicable to their MovePayment user App while participating in the Welcome Bonus Program.
1. How to Earn Your Welcome Bonus
To qualify for a welcome bonus, you must:
- Register with MovePayment.
- Make purchases totalling at least €30 with our partner Merchants within 6 months of your registration. This can be a single purchase or multiple purchases to reach the minimum amount.
- Once you meet the requirements, you can claim your reward under the “Cashback” section in the MovePayment App. The “Claim” button will be activated and glowing green. By clicking on it, you can claim your reward. This button will remain active for six months. If you fail to claim it during this period, your Welcome Bonus will expire.
2. Payment of Bonuses
A bonus will be paid out once per user, upon meeting the relevant criteria as described above. After claiming your welcome bonus, it may take up to 72 hours for your reward to be deposited into your bank account, which is stored in the MovePayment user app as a Standard Bank account. The exact value of bonuses may vary over time, and the current amounts will be displayed in your MovePayment app. The applicable amount will always be the amount as of the date on which you make a qualifying transaction.
3. Other Legal Information
By participating in this Welcome Bonus Program, you acknowledge that you understand any Reward may be subject to local income tax in the country of your residence and/or in the local territory where you are a tax resident.
4. Miscellaneous
MovePayment reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or modify the terms and requirements of the Welcome Bonus Program at any time and without prior notice. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Changing the eligibility criteria for Users.
- Modifying the total spend requirement criteria.
- Adjusting the amount of any bonuses payable.
The current terms and conditions will always be accessible within the MovePayment app or on the MovePayment website. MovePayment retains the right to reject the participation of current users in the Welcome Bonus program without explanation and shall not be liable to you or any other party for such refusal. MovePayment also reserves the right to review and investigate all welcome bonus activities and may suspend accounts at its sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.
